Our goal

To improve the quality of life for our Homeland defenders and to transform their future in our country via education.

Make the most significant difference in the lives of veterans and our society, since education is critical and their bravery is priceless.

"4090 Charity" Foundation not only provides tuition support to war-torn students till the completion of their studies if they.

  • have above-average academic performance /GPA/ and
  • volunteer 120 hours every year to become the link in the chain of goodwill.

but also plans numerous intellectual, vocational, and cultural events to help them integrate into society after the war.

Problem

The Foundation supported 97 veterans studying at several institutions in the Republic of Armenia during the 2023-24 academic year, who surmounted significant physical and psychological challenges to follow their dreams and become the visionaries of our homeland's future.

To ensure the tuition fees of the 10 veterans for the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year, 1 630 000 AMD is due to be collected.

The aforementioned sum does not include any administrative costs and will be delivered to the respective educational institutions.

Solution

"4090 Charity" Foundation was established in early 2021 with the mission of providing the best opportunities for education and future professional development to veterans who, despite various physical and psychological challenges, pursue The Foundation has no political, religious, or trade union objectives, and it is not affiliated with any political movement. Currently, it has 97 beneficiaries studying in different universities in Armenia, among which are People with disabilities, various disorders, and health issues.

As part of this initiative, you can make a huge difference in the lives of war-torn Armenians by assisting them in obtaining a fundamental education, as well as becoming a MENTOR for them.

FAQ

Why 4090?

4090 is the height of the highest peak of Mount Aragats (4090 m).

Who are the beneficiaries?

All participants of 2016 and 2020 wars, who currently reside in Armenia and study at any local University.

Who funds the program?

To date, all funds have been raised via the generosity of individuals living in Armenia and abroad as well as within the CSR programs of some companies.

Isn't the government responsible for paying their tuition?

Students who have participated in military activities earn more than half of their tuition reimbursement only if their grade point average (GPA) surpasses 60%, otherwise, no reimbursement is granted (Decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia No 1752-N dated October 28, 2021).

How does the Foundation cover the tuition?

"4090 Charity" Foundation covers up to 100% of the tuition fees for the veterans. The funds are directly transferred to the educational institution. The beneficiaries receive no money in person.
